Any day in Europe that includes Starbucks is a success -- we found this one in Munich and were all smiles!
I am starting to believe that the best road trips in the world exist in Europe. No where else can you pack so much into a day than when you are rolling down all the auto-bahns and -stradas of Europa. On Sunday, Duke was so nice as to make the car available, so we hopped in our SKODA ROOMSTER (actual name) and hit the road.
Our itinerary took us north, first to the medieval city of Kufstein and its might fortress. After a filling (and authentically Sicilian) lunch, we headed north to Munich, Germany where we discovered surfers (yes, surfers!), the world's biggest & best beer hall, and state of the art engineering at the BMW World Headquarters. We did all that and were home back in Innsbruck by 8pm for dinner. Here are the quick photo highlights:

I agree about the "Anyday that includes Starbucks is great". Although the prices in Europe (at least in Paris - 5 Euros or $8 CDN for a Venti Mocha)don't really allow for this to be an everyday thing like in Canada
Since you're the first person I've ever known who's actually driven a Skoda (or at least has done so and lived to tell the tale, you've got to let us see it).
And, yes, it's fun to hit a Starbucks outside of the U.S. (I've done it in Beijing — where the prices were less than the U.S. — and Athens and Australia, where they weren't.) Only Beijing actually had the ice tea that is my Starbucks beverage of choice, however.
