On the old Arsenio Hall show, he had a special segment called "Things that make you go Hmmmm...." You know, the type of things you look at and just shake your head. Well, living in Europe has provided us a number of those items, and I regretfully have not been posting enough of them here on the blog. Therefore, here's a few things that made me laugh - all from just yesterday - and will give you a much better taste of what living in Europe means!
Why do we always use old fashioned clocks when learning to tell time in a foreign language?

Let me get this straight: 1 Mini Chipmunk for 1 Euro... but 5 MINI CHIPMUNKS for 1.90 Euro? That is an incredible deal!!! Mini Chipmunks for Everyone!!!
TACKY!!! What's the deal with the converse hightops? My wife doesn't get it...
Cowbells available in size large, extra large, and HEFFER! Is that for babe the blue ox?
Why wouldn't the FITNESS salad come with a large beer? Now that's a value meal...
The Children's part of the menu at Mama Mia's -- aka "FUR KINDER" -- does not put an age restriction on it... but rather by HEIGHT! At 1.4 meters, you are no longer eligible (4 foot 7 inches)... so Laurie - you are good FOREVER!!!
What's better than MILKA Chocolate? LOT'S OF MILKA CHOCOLATE!!! With the special .85 euro sale, Gonzalo and I went for some handfuls!
There's an AFRO Meeting in June? I better start growing my hair out!
