The BMW World Headquarters

BMW Headquarters... A whole bunch of Bad Mamma Jamma's!

You hear all the time about "German-engineering," but until you get up close and feel it, you can't quite grasp the concept.  Such was our visit to the World Headquarters of BMW in northwestern Munich, where everything you feel as though you are stepping into the future of mankind.  Carbon-alloys and other really sophisticated words come to your head, as you stand drooling over a brand new M3 with leather everything, personal DVD players, and $150,000 worth of luxury.  In short, it was BOY HEAVEN

This is where you get your pick up your new Beamer if you select "European Headquarter Delivery."

The complex is actually comprised of the showroom, the corporate offices, the factory, and the museum.  It was late on a Sunday night, so we just hit the showroom, but even there was enough things to make our jaw drop.  Of particular note, there is a special floor (the second) where you can pick up your new BMW if you purchase it there or select Headquarters Delivery.  There, you are met by a Heidi Klum-close in a tight dress, ushered to a leather sofa overlooking the factory, and handed the golden keys while an orchestra plays the Star Wars theme.  (I may be exaggerating on everything but the Heidi Klum thing.)

New BMW's are equipped with driver information that is beamed onto the front windshield, like the mask of a fighter pilot.  Guess you feel like one when you are sitting on that type of horsepower.

A future competitor for Claudio and Salvo.

Elizabeth Swarovski: If you are following this blog, this is the one I want when we win both the EuroBowl and Austria bowl.
