4 Countries, 1 Day!

Lake Zurich was breathtaking!

After our Fairy Tale Castle Adventure and brief stop for SUMMER LUGE, we were off to Interlaken in Southwestern Switzerland for a unique high-altitude Swiss Alps experience.  But standing in our way was 500 km of picturesque roadways taking us through 4 countries: Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein (a slight detour but worth it to add another 'pin' on the map), and finally Switzerland.  We did it all in one day - what a fun adventure!

Visiting Liechtenstein is a lot like visiting Delaware - not sure exactly why you are there, but at least you can tell people that you went!

Cute Austrian villages dotted our route, which took us slightly off the 'beaten' path.  I would like to say that Arnold is from here - but I'm not really sure of his old stomping grounds!

Finally the rolling green hills of Switzerland... which were to be totally honest, a lot more 'green' than I expected!  Topography like this covers most of Switzerland, with the Alps running along its Southern, Eastern, and Western Borders.
