The Best View of Firenze

If you want the absolute best view of Medieval Europe's most impressive town, FLORENCE, then there is only one place to head: Michaelangelo's Piazza.

Located on the south side of the Arno river, the Piazza (or Square) boasts an 180 degree view of the town, including a perfect view of the Duomo, Major Churches, and Ponte Vecchio Bridge.  It also houses one of three David's in the town (the others being outside the Uffizi Gallery and the original, in the Accadamia Museum).

I would recommend this as a must for anyone visiting the city, but specifically as a sunset destination, a photographic viewpoint, or a perfect place to get engaged - but only if the Eiffel Tower or a Maui Beach are taken...

The Ponte Vecchio.

Johnson Seniors happy to be in Florence.
