On Wednesday night, the Elephants officially closed the season with the Annual Awards Banquet at Manteca Pizzeria. (Just like Pop Warner... Pizza Party!) It was a great evening and a special time with all of our new friends.
The view of the water was incredible... did I mention the whole restaurant was open air?

Posing with the "Pink Panther," Enrico Lombardo! Enrico proved equally hard to catch this season, as the top Italian Running Back in the league.
Claudio Mango took home the "Vick Trophy" - the most prestigious award of the night given to the top Italian player. The trophy was established by the first American coach for the Elephants and is carved out of Ivory... GREAT JOB CLAUDIO!!!

At the end of the night, we all knew who the real winner was: GUSTAVO! It appears that he has not only all of our money but my wife as well! Pazzo!!!~ J. Twice
